ARRIVAL IN MANILA

Terminal Information

Terminal 1: Also referred to as ‘NAIA’ handles many international flights

Terminal 2: Also referred to as the ‘PAL Terminal’ has two wings – domestic and international. These terminals exclusively handle all Philippine Airlines (PAL) Flights 

Terminal 3: Handles all Cebu Pacific flights as well as ANA, Air Asia, Cathay Pacific, Delta, Emirates, KLM and Singapore Airlines 

Terminal 4: Twin prop flights to Coron and other areas


Connections between terminals require land transfers 

Our reservations team will advise of transfer times and options. 


Traveling between terminals can, depending on traffic, take 20-30 minutes and possibly more.

For that and other reasons we strongly suggest one allows the below connection times:

These connection times will not always guarantee one makes a flight but our experience shows

that by using these connection times one should have a better chance of making a flight.


Guests connecting between a Philippines Airlines (PAL) international flight to a Philippines Airlines (PAL) domestic flight (or vice-versa), i.e. PAL to PAL with same-day transit, will be directed to PAL transfer services and do not need to transit between terminals via public roads. Please follow PAL staff directions. This transition shortens the inter-terminal transfer time but also means that Atlantis staff cannot meet you for your inter-terminal transfers. Please be sure to check your luggage through to your final destination, if other than Manila. 

Domestic Flights

If your stay with us requires a domestic flight, our reservations team will require the following:

1. Your name and those in your party as they appear in your passport. (These are a part of our online-check in process, which you can complete via the following LINK if you have not done so already.)

2. A confirmed reservation at the resort or liveaboard.

3. Details of international inbound and outbound flights and/or sufficient information on your travel plans regarding which flight to book on which day.

PUERTO GALERA

Water Taxi Transfer

Aiport:

Upon exiting the airport an Atlantis representative will be waiting at the designated area and holding a sign with the guest(s) or group name. Staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the car. 

Car/Van:

Air-conditioned transport, the drive is approximately 2-3 hours to Batangas Ferry port with a short rest stop available along the way. 

Water Taxi:

A water taxi between Berberabe and Sabang Beach Puerto Galera is approximately 30 minutes.

Public Ferry Transfer

Aiport:

Upon exiting the airport an Atlantis representative will be waiting at the designated area and holding a sign with the guest(s) or group name. Staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the car.

Batangas Public Ferry:

Guests will be dropped off at Batangas ferry port. Directions will be provided upon completion of your booking. Transfers from Balateros Port can also be arranged. Please, contact our reservations team to make arrangements.

Night navigation is restricted on transfers from Batangas to Puerto Galera, therefore guests arriving in Manila in the afternoon will require an overnight hotel stay. 

DUMAGUETE

Manila - Dumaguete Transfer

Airport:

If you are arriving from an international flight and transfering to Dumaguete the same day on a domestic flight Atlantis will meet you at the Airport in Manila to transfer you to the domestic terminal

Upon exiting the airport in Dumaguete an Atlantis representative will be waiting at the designated area wearing a maroon polo shirt and holding a sign with the guest(s) or group name. Staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the car. 

Luggage Claim Tags:

You will be given tags for each piece of check-in luggage at the check-in counter. When you get to the Dumaguete airport do not claim your luggage but give these tags to our representative and we will collect your bags. If you are traveling with a group your group leader may collect them all after check-in. 

Car/Van:

Air-conditioned transport, the drive is approximately 30 minutes to Atlantis Dumaguete. 

Cebu - Dumaguete Transfer Options

By Air:

There are two daily flights between Cebu and Dumaguete, early morning and late evening. The flight is approximately 40 minutes in a prop plane. Maximum pre-purchased baggage allowance is 20kg/44 lbs. Any additional weight will be paid at the airport, approximately $5 per kilo. 

Pickup from the airport to the resort is included. This is the best option if connection times work, and if guests do not have a lot of luggage.

Travel time is approximately 2 hours.


By Ferry:

A car transfer from Mactan Airport to Cebu Pier for Ocean Jet ferry to Dumaguete Pier,  where they will be picked up in private transport to Atlantis Dumaguete. The Ocean Jet ferry leaves Cebu daily at 8:00 and arrives in Dumaguete at 12:30 PM Ocean Jet ferry leaves Dumaguete daily at 3:30 PM and arrives in Cebu at 8:00 PM. Travel time is approximately 6 hours.

By Land & Sibulan Ferry:

A private car transfer from Mactan Airport (Cebu) to Liloan Wharf for the public passenger-only ferry (the van does not go on the ferry and guests need to carry their luggage onboard) to Sibulan Wharf, where they will be picked up in a private transfer to Atlantis Dumaguete. Travel time is approximately 6 hours.

The ferry runs every 90 minutes from 04:30 AM until 9:00 PM between Cebu to Dumaguete

Time required:

Mactan Airport to Liloan Wharf - between 4-5 hours

Liloan Wharf - Sibulan public ferry - 30 mins

Sibulan wharf to Atlantis Dumaguete - 45 mins

PUERTO PRINCESSA

(Tubbataha Charter Only)

Air Transfer

Flights can be arranged from/to our Dumaguete Resort or Manila airport to Puerto Princessa.

Airport:

Upon exiting the airport an Atlantis representative will be waiting at the designated area wearing a maroon polo shirt and holding a sign with the guest(s) or group name. Staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the car. 

Car/Van:

Air-conditioned transport, the drive is approximately 15 minutes to the main port 

Liveaboard charters depart at 5 pm. Security at the port will not allow access before. 

For guests arriving early, staff will guide you to the local shopping mall where there is a range of restaurants and coffee shops to relax in before departure or you could opt to book a day room at our partner hotel. 

Atlantis staff will keep your bags secure and pick you up at an arranged time to board the boat.

Day Tour

Commence the tour from the financial district of Makati including Fort Bonifacio and the American Cemetery, then move on to the city of Manila, the country’s capital. Arrive at Rizal Park, named in honour of the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. After a brief picture stop, proceed to the historic Walled City of Intramuros. Travel through the cobbled streets towards San Agustin Church, the country’s oldest stone church and view its wide collection of ecclesiastical icons, vestments and other religious articles. Amenities include a gym, coin laundry and a business centre.
